Inside a Vegas Casino Weekend

Three days, four properties, one increasingly questionable sleep schedule. What a GAMBO trip actually looks like.

People assume the trips are the fun part. They are, but not for the reason anyone thinks.

A shoot weekend runs on logistics. Four properties, a camera bag that weighs more than it should, and a window of maybe ninety minutes per floor before the light and the energy both change on you.

The best footage almost never comes from the table we planned to shoot. It comes from the one we walked past at 2AM on the way back to the room.

By Sunday the crew is running on coffee and the specific delirium of a casino floor with no windows. That is usually when somebody says something honest enough to open an episode with.

We budget for that now. You cannot script it, but you can leave room for it.
